This policy explains in plain language which personal data Slimmer Geregeld processes, what we use it for and which rights you have. We follow the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who is responsible

The data controller for data on this website and in the social media hub is:

  • Company name: Slimmergeregeld.nl
  • Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number: 75132680
  • Address: Koldakker 1, 9407 BR Assen
  • Privacy contact: info@slimmergeregeld.nl

2. Data we process about website visitors

If you fill in the contact form, we process your name, company name, email address, phone number (if you provide it) and your message. We only use this data to answer your request.

This website does not use cookies for tracking or analytics. We do not place advertising cookies and we do not follow you across other sites. Our hosting may briefly log technical data, such as your IP address, to keep the site secure and available.

3. Data we process about users of the social media hub

If you connect an account from a social media platform to the hub, the following data reaches us through that platform:

  • your profile name and account ID;
  • the pages and accounts you manage and have given us permission to use;
  • access tokens that allow the hub to act on your behalf;
  • the posts and media you create or schedule in the hub yourself;
  • statistics for your own posts, such as reach and reactions.

We do not request more data than is needed for the features you use.

4. What we use the data for

We use hub data only to publish and schedule posts on your behalf and to show you the results.

We do not sell data. We do not use it for advertising or profiling. We do not use it to train AI models.

5. Permissions we request per platform

A platform asks you to grant permissions, called scopes. These are the scopes we request and why.

  • Facebook (Meta): pages_show_list to show which pages you can connect, pages_manage_posts to publish posts on your page, pages_read_engagement to show reactions and reach for your posts.
  • Instagram (Meta): instagram_basic to recognise your professional account, instagram_content_publish to publish posts on your account, instagram_manage_insights to show statistics for your posts.
  • LinkedIn: openid and profile to recognise your account, w_member_social to publish posts on your profile, and for company pages w_organization_social and r_organization_social to publish on your page and read its posts.
  • Google Business Profile: business.manage to recognise your business profile and publish posts (updates) on it.
  • TikTok: user.info.basic to recognise your account, video.publish and video.upload to publish or prepare videos on your behalf, video.list to show your own videos and statistics.

If platforms are added, such as Google (YouTube), X or Pinterest, we will update this list before we offer that connection.

6. Legal basis and retention

  • Contact form: our legitimate interest in answering your request. We keep your message until the request is handled and for up to 12 months after that.
  • Social media hub: performance of the agreement you have with us and your consent when you connect an account. We keep the data as long as your account and connections are active. After termination or deletion we erase it within 30 days.
  • Legal retention obligations, for example for invoices, take precedence over the periods above.

7. Security

We store platform access tokens in encrypted form. Connections to the site and the hub use HTTPS. Only people who need it for their work have access to data.

8. Processors and sub-processors

To run the site and the hub we use parties that process data on our behalf. We have agreements with them on the protection of data.

  • Vercel Inc.: hosting of the website.
  • Resend: sending contact form messages by email.
  • Bouman.tech: hosting and storage of the social media hub.
  • AI providers, only if you use AI features or an AI connection yourself (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Google or Perplexity): the text you enter for that goes to the model you choose. We do not use that text to train models.
  • The platforms you connect yourself (Meta, LinkedIn, Google, TikTok and any others): they are responsible for their own processing under their own terms.

9. Transfers outside the EU

Some of these parties process data in the United States or elsewhere outside the European Union. In that case we make sure there is an appropriate safeguard, such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

10. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access your data;
  • have incorrect data corrected;
  • have your data deleted;
  • object to processing;
  • have your data transferred to you;
  • withdraw consent at any time.

Send an email to info@slimmergeregeld.nl. We respond within one month. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

11. Revoking a connection

You can revoke a connection in two ways.

  • With us: let us know at info@slimmergeregeld.nl and we will disconnect the account and erase the access tokens.
  • With the platform itself: remove Slimmer Geregeld from the connected or authorised apps in the settings of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google, TikTok or the platform concerned. The hub can then no longer act on your behalf.

12. Deleting your data

How to request deletion of your data is explained on the Data Deletion page (slimmergeregeld.nl/en/data-deletion). We delete your data within 30 days of your request, except data we are legally required to keep.

13. Changes

We may change this policy. The date of the last change is at the top of the page. If analytics or tracking is added later, we will first update this policy and ask for your cookie choice.
